I got on Duster for the first time in about four months out in the sage brush and he did great. He's really mellowed out from when I first got him, but he is about sixteen now so he should have some sense..
Finally got to ride in 2012, but we had to go to Arizona to do it. We went to Goldfield, a historic mining town outside of Apache Junction. There we rode in the desert for two hours with our guide and two brothers on vacation from North Dakota. The weather was already pretty hot for that early in the year. I can't even remember my horse's name which is bad.
